She found the escapism of reading at a very tender age, devouring the bodice rippers of yore, long before she’d even dreamed of a first kiss. Her first book boyfriends were swashbuckling pirates, and roguish Highlanders who weren’t perfect, but made up for their brutish behavior with a good grovel, and a happily ever after. Reading has always been a very important part of her life and she loses herself in a good book at every opportunity.

Today, she’s a mid-30’s romance author and mom to a teen boy and a couple of confused, lazy pit bulls. She annoys her husband as often as she can, and she survives on poor sleep choices, too much caffeine, and too little water.
